The Beauty Lounge by RGL is a premier makeup, eyebrow, and hair studio located at 1339 Springville Road Bldg B in Birmingham, AL. The Beauty Lounge by RGL offers a variety of beauty and skincare treatments. All services provided are done by licensed professionals. Chi has integrated her beauty philosophy "enhancing what God gave you" into each service to offer a truly personalized beauty experience. This philosophy is practiced especially in the brow consultation, where the 'cookie-cutter' brow waxing you may have received elsewhere is thrown out and replaced by a session with 'the brow whisperer'. Chi has had a passion for eyebrows since becoming a professional makeup artist at the age of 16 but honed her skills working with the preeminent eyebrow expert Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Studio at Nordstrom Phipps Plaza in Atlanta. She will create an eyebrow that not only complements the shape of your face but captures your unique personality and fits your lifestyle.

 

Chi started doing makeup professionally at the tender age of 16, working with her aunt and Interface Cosmetics. Throughout high school and while attending The International School of Skin and Nailcare, she worked freelance jobs with various national makeup lines including Iman, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, and Nars. After graduating and receiving her esthetics license she then shifted her focus to skincare, working at various spa's then becoming a sales representative and trainer for Billy Jealousy men's skincare. She gained more knowledge managing the Advanced Skincare lines at Nordstrom including Dr. Perricone, Prevage, MD Skincare and later was the manager and esthetician for the Elemis Spa Nordstrom Phipps Plaza. After relocating to Birmingham Alabama, she furthered her training with Clarins Paris then as an esthetician at a medical spa. Chi has spent the last 5 years working with Mac Cosmetics, becoming a certified makeup artist. She now shares her passion, years of training and expertise to serve your beauty enhancement needs at Beauty Lounge by RGL.
